The master plan for the former Tupperware site aims to integrate the right bank of the river Dender into the town’s urban fabric, while allowing the project area to function autonomously and to develop according to its own logic. The project aims to provide surplus value to the wider environment and heighten the attractiveness of the town (a provincial hub). To this end, the design proposes some well-balanced structures suitable for public-oriented functions such as restaurants and commercial activities as well as for a wide range of residential spaces. Sustainability is central to every component of this project.
